A family and consumer science teacher provides educational instruction, support, management, and leadership to facilitate success for all students. They often advise their school’s FCCLA chapter while fostering student leadership through career related competitions. Working with local businesses and in school laboratories, they also provide supervised experience in culinary arts kitchens, fashion design studios, early childhood education centers, and so much more.
