Career and Technical Education – Agricultural Education Major
Virginia Tech offers a Bachelor of Science in agricultural education, preparing you for teacher licensure in the state of Virginia. Ag teachers provide instruction, support, management, and leadership to facilitate success for all students. They often manage and advise their school’s FFA chapter while fostering student leadership. Working with local businesses and in school laboratories, they also provide supervised experience on farms, and in feeding centers, greenhouses, meats laboratories, and so much more.
