The Strains Ensemble is Shannon Wettstein, piano; Kyle Hutchins, saxophone; and Elizabeth Lantz, flute.

This is a portrait concert of music by Charles Nichols, and will include:
Sonder (2021), for flute, alto saxophone, and computer
Serenity Mask (2024), for solo alto saxophone and computer
Gamma (2020), for solo piano and computer
Virginia Triple Crown (2024), for flute, soprano saxophone, and piano

Visitors to the Blacksburg campus Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. will need to display a parking permit, utilize the ParkMobile app, pay the daily charge for a pass, or pay for parking using an hourly meter. A range of parking options can be found here.
