Joe Kelley was a well-known artist living in Blacksburg whose untimely death at the age of 55 sent shock waves through the community.  Nearly two years have passed, and decades of his work are still being discovered in places tucked away to be found later; a gift to the community who cherished his soulful vision of the Appalachian Mountains and humorous take on the everyday.

Joe Kelley: (Un)seen Works explores the artist’s versatility, genius, and passion for life expressed through the art that he left as a reminder to live every moment fully.
