Scene from the opera "The Three Feathers."

This ensemble is open to all desirous to sing and shine on the stage!

Solos and scenes traverse the rich canon of 16th century opera through modern-day Broadway.  Students intensively study both musical and theatrical aspects of their assigned scenes, which then culminate in a fully- staged public performance. Past repertory has included Sound of MusicDido and AeneasHello DollyLa TraviataA Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Marriage of Figaro. Suggested skills include classical and/or musical theater vocal training and the ability to read music. Auditions take place the first day of class and consist of one song that best highlights your vocal and acting ability. Auditions aid the directors in choosing appropriate repertory for the student; they do not dictate entrance into the ensemble.  For more information, please contact Brian Thorsett.
