Overview

The Accelerated Music + M.S.B.A. program is a distinctive interdisciplinary pathway that enables students to earn both a Bachelor of Arts in music and a Master of Science in business administration – business analytics (M.S.B.A.-B.A.) in as little as four years.

This program is ideal for students who want to combine their artistic training with data-driven business skills, preparing them for leadership roles in arts management, music technology, entrepreneurship, and beyond.

Program Timeline

Standard 4+1 Pathway

  • Years one to three: Undergraduate music coursework, Pathways Curriculum, and foundational electives.
  • Year four: Begin graduate coursework (six credits) while completing the B.A. in music.
  • Year five: Full-time M.S.B.A.-B.A. program with capstone project and career coaching.

Accelerated 3+1 Pathway

Designed for students with sufficient AP, dual enrollment, or summer/winter credits (12 or more credits). Complete an undergraduate degree in music performance, music technology, or creative technologies in three years.

  • Years one to two: Undergraduate music coursework, Pathways Curriculum, and foundational electives.
  • Year three: Begin graduate coursework (6 credits) while completing the B.A. in music.
  • Year four: Full-time M.S.B.A.-B.A. program with capstone project and career coaching.
